Linda Richardson founded and successfully grew Richardson into an industry leader in the sales training industry. She is well known throughout the industry and has authored many leading sales training books. When she decided to look for an equity partner to help her continue to build Richardson as well as provide her with some liquidity, she chose ClearLight. ClearLight made a substantial investment in Richardson in 2006. Concurrent with that investment, and consistent with Linda’s wishes, she was made Executive Chairperson so she could focus on the strategic elements of the business and the content design function, which is her passion.
Linda had assembled a great management team to help her build the Company, led by David DiStefano, the COO. A 13-year veteran of the Company, David was promoted from COO to President and CEO at the time of ClearLight’s investment. David and his team have developed and are implementing a plan to drive Richardson’s already impressive growth and profitability to new levels.
